The Experience
The Farm Forum Event has been growing larger and bringing in more unique speakers and new ideas every year since its inception seven years ago. The Farm Forum Event is focused on learning, and the exchange of innovation and ideas between the agriculture industry’s best and brightest. Leading farmers, industry leaders, leading farm advisors, leading agronomy researchers, leading grain marketers, leading product manufacturers, and wise students.
The Agri-Trend Group of Companies hosts the event, and takes care of getting things organized, but it is a very collaborative atmosphere between a lot of companies that make it all possible.

Who attends?
There will be approximately 1000 people walking through the door on Tuesday evening, Nov 29th. Most will be very progressive farmers traveling in from across Western Canada. Last year they were 27% from AB, 42% from SK, 22% from MB, 2% from ON+BC, and 7% from other countries. The others are there to meet the leading farmers, because they believe they have an innovation that a leading farmer would want to know about.
Why do they attend?
Everyone comes to have some fun, that’s important for sure, but the main reason everyone attends The Farm Forum Event is to LEARN. Farmers can learn by visiting the large industry trade shows, there are conferences put on by the government organizations, there is the media, there is the coffeeshop, there is the internet, there are neighbors, and there are sales people. The goal of The Farm Forum Event has always been to reach further, for a more specialized audience. With more than 70 speakers on the agenda, and time to network with peers in between and after the sessions, there is always an abundance of great new ideas to return home with.
When and where?
The Farm Forum Event will be hosted in Saskatoon at the TCU Place. The doors open at 6pm on Tuesday, Nov 29th for registration, a social mixer, some entertainment, and the first of the major keynote sessions. The learning activities continue on through to mid afternoon on Thursday, Dec 1st. There are a number of good hotel options in downtown Saskatoon, it is strongly advised to book your accommodations immediately, as vacancy can be an issue these days in “SaskaBoom”.
Why have I heard that The Farm Forum Event is “the most energetic agricultural event of the year”?
It is because it is well organized, fun, we pay attention to detail and pack a whole lot of value into the time we are together. And we invite successful people who know how to have fun.
